Associate

Thomas is an associate in our Corporate and Real Estate group. His practice focuses on supporting emerging and mid-market companies with private company mergers and acquisitions, financings, commercial contracting, and technology transactions, with significant experience advising clients on SaaS agreements, software licensing, and other technology-driven commercial arrangements. Thomas acts as primary counsel to clients across the technology, professional services, and real estate sectors, guiding them through complex transactions with a practical, business-oriented approach. He also regularly advises clients on corporate governance matters, including shareholder agreements, board matters, and business formation, such as the structuring of federal and provincial corporations and joint ventures. In addition to his corporate practice, Thomas acts for buyers, sellers, and lenders in residential real estate transactions. Thomas is known for providing clear, actionable advice that helps clients move efficiently from negotiation to close.

Thomas studied law at the University of Windsor, graduating in 2021. While studying, Thomas was heavily involved in the Windsor Law School community, volunteering with Community Legal Aid and as a Peer Mentor to new Windsor Law students. Prior to attending law school, Thomas attended the University of Guelph for his undergraduate studies earning a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree.

Outside of his practice, Thomas enjoys travelling, trying new food spots, playing golf and hockey while also being involved in the community.
